Matt Dumba suffered a a dislocated rib and a broken rib that caused a punctured lung near the end of the regular season.
Dumba returned for the regular-season finale and he played in all six games during the Stanley Cup Playoffs. He said he will get better with rest during the offseason and there no way that he wasn't going to play in the playoffs.
Matt Dumba scored a goal in Thursday's 5-1 Game 6 loss to the St. Louis Blues.
Dumba ripped a shot past Jordan Binnington at the beginning of the third period to pull the Blues within three goals. However, Binnington was stellar in another playoff performance and boosted St. Louis to a victory which eliminated the Wild from the playoffs. Dumba finished the post-season with just a single goal in six games.
Matt Dumba (upper body) will be back in the lineup on Friday versus Colorado.
Dumba will play in Minnesota's regular-season finale after being out since Apr. 5 due to an upper-body injury. He has seven goals, 26 points, 116 shots, 83 blocks and 113 hits in 56 appearances this year.
Matt Dumba (upper body) won't be available to play on Thursday versus Calgary.
Dumba was on the ice for the morning skate and it is possible that he could be ready to return on Friday against Colorado.
