Scandella had been out since May 8 and he has been limited to two outings this postseason because of lower-body injuries. He was paired with Justin Faulk during the morning skate. 

Scandella last played on May 8. He had three goals and 14 points in 70 contests in 2021-22.

Scandella has been doing some practice work over the last week, but he remains out of action for Saturday's Game 3. He made just two appearances during St. Louis' first-round series against Minnesota. There's still a decent chance we see Scandella at some point against Colorado upcoming, but at least for now, out of action.

Scandella was on the ice for the morning skate again, but he won't rush himself back. "He's out there skating with us. He's going to have to make a decision at some point when he thinks he's ready to play and he'll play," said coach Craig Berube. "He made that decision before and he obviously wasn't well enough to play and he tried. I don't think he wants to go down that road again where he puts himself in that position but can't finish."
