His goal in this game cut the Flyers’ deficit to 2-1 with just under 12 minutes to go in the first period, but they were never able to complete the comeback. Scott Laughton and Travis Konecny picked up the assists on Philadelphia’s only goal of the game. Hayes now has 31 points in 46 games this season.
