Philly Hockey Now is reporting that Keith Yandle has retired from hockey.
Yandle did not meet with the press Saturday as the Flyers although he was scheduled to. Fellow Flyer Nick Seeler confirmed that Yandle played his last game on Friday. Yandle ended the season with one goal and 19 points and saw his 989 game ironman streak end Apr. 2. Yandle was a league-worst minus-47 and ends his career with 103 goals and 619 points in 1,109 games. Congratulations go out to Yandle on a very good career.
Keith Yandle will be back in the lineup on Wednesday night.
Yandle will play against the Rangers after being a healthy scratch for the past three matches. Egor Zamula will also be in the lineup for the Flyers because of injuries to Rasmus Ristolainen and Cam York.
