Justin Braun has signed a one-year, $1.75 million contract with the Philadelphia Flyers.
Braun started the 2021-22 season with the Flyers before he was traded to the New York Rangers. In 69 appearances last campaign, he posted six goals, 18 points, 73 shots, 121 blocks and 87 hits.
Justin Braun will be in the lineup for Game 2 against Pittsburgh.
Braun will replace Ryan Lindgren, who is dealing with a lower-body injury. He played in just eight games with the Rangers during the regular season after he was acquired from Philadelphia.

Braun will make his second appearance with the Rangers against his former team. He was acquired from the Flyers ahead of the trade deadline.
The New York Rangers will dress Justin Braun during Friday's game against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Braun will not be suiting up as part of the Rangers active lineup in the game. Other players that will also not be dressing include Julien Gauthier, Ryan Reaves and Greg McKegg.
