Jon Merrill may not be ready for training camp after he had offseason surgery.
Merrill had an upper-body injury that required surgery after the Stanley Cup Playoffs. There's a chance that he could be unavailable for the start of training camp.
Jon Merrill (upper body) will return to the lineup on Thursday night.
Merrill missed 10 games with an upper-body injury. He has four goals, 18 points, 56 shots and 103 blocks in 63 games this campaign. Merrill will replace Jordie Benn on the back end when the Wild host Vancouver.
Jon Merrill (upper body) won't play on Sunday against San Jose.
Merrill will be held out of the lineup again because of an upper-body injury. He has been sidelined since Mar. 31 due to the ailment.

Merrill has been out of action all month and while he accompanied the Wild on their road trip, coach Dean Evason said he was doubtful. Just an FYI.
