Jamie Benn opened the scoring with his first of the playoffs, just 40 seconds into the first period.
Benn's goal was the fifth fastest Game 7 goal in NHL history with Jean Beliveau in 1965, setting the standard at the 14 second mark. Benn ended the series with two points in seven games. Vladislav Namestnikov also scored for Dallas who will now go home after a Game 7 loss to Calgary.
