Gabriel Landeskog drew an assist on Nathan MacKinnon's goal in Colorado's 2-1 win over Tampa Bay.
With the win the Avalanche won the Stanley Cup which Landeskog, as the Colorado captain, accepted from Deputy Commissioner Bill Daly, parading it around the rink. Landeskog ended the playoffs with 11 goals and 22 points in 20 games after a 30-goal and 59 point season in 51 regular season games.
Gabriel Landeskog scored twice on the power play in the Avalanche's 6-2 loss to Tampa Bay Monday.
Landeskog was the only Av to beat Andrei Vasilevskiy as he has 11 goals and 21 points in 17 games after missing the last 23 games of the regular season due to knee surgery. He missed the morning skate but was a force despite the loss on Monday.
Gabriel Landeskog didn't skate again on Monday morning for maintenance, according to coach Jared Bednar.
This is nothing new for Landeskog, who has been absent from plenty of practices and morning skates throughout the Stanley Cup Playoffs. He sat out the final 23 games of the regular season following knee surgery, but he has played in all 16 of Colorado's postseason contests and he will be in the lineup again on Monday night in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final. The Avalanche captain has nine goals, 10 assists, 47 shots and 51 hits during this playoff run.
Gabriel Landeskog skipped Saturday's morning skate.
That's really only worthy of note because Landeskog also opted out of Friday's practice. He's still expected to play in Game 2 on Saturday, but perhaps he's playing through something. Landeskog played a big part in the Avalanche's Game 1 victory by scoring a goal and registering an assist.
