Elias Lindholm finished second in Selke voting.
Lindholm trailed only Boston's Patrice Bergeron in the award given to the NHL's top defensive forward. Lindholm had an outstanding season, his best in the NHL, as he had 42 goals and 82 points as well as a plus-61 rating.
Elias Lindholm contributed a goal and an assist in Calgary's 9-6 win against Edmonton.
That was Lindholm's first multi-point game of the 2022 playoffs. He's up to four goals and seven points in eight postseason games this year.
Elias Lindholm is a finalist for the Selke Trophy.
This is the first time Lindholm has been nominated for the Selke. He had a plus-61 rating, 52 blocked shots, and 55 takeaways over the course of the 2021-22 campaign. He also was a key member of the Flames' penalty kill. He probably won't win the Selke, but he was an important two-way forward for the Flames.
