Charlie McAvoy underwent a left shoulder arthroscopic stabilization procedure on Friday.
McAvoy is expected to recover in approximately six months, which means is slated to miss the first part of the 2022-23 season. That could keep him out until December. He amassed 10 goals, 56 points, 166 shots, 130 blocks and 156 hits in 78 games during the 2021-22 campaign.
