If that's the case, then this marks the end of what has been a rough campaign for Hart. He has a 13-24-7 record, 3.16 GAA, and .905 save percentage in 45 contests this season.

However, Yeo did say that it is unlikely that Hart will be back before the end of the 2021-22 campaign. He was injured on Tuesday against Washington and he wasn't in the lineup for Wednesday's match versus the New York Rangers. 

Hart left Tuesday's game against Washington because of a lower-body injury. Coach Mike Yeo said that there is some concern about Hart's status for the rest of the season. Philadelphia has brought up Felix Sandstrom from the minors on an emergency basis. 

Hart stopped seven of 10 shots in the first period of the contest. Although those are obviously poor numbers, it was ultimately the injury that held him out for the remainder of the game. He's doubtful for Wednesday's game, though the extent of his injury hasn't been revealed yet.
