Defenseman Brayden McNabb was the offensive star for Vegas with a goal and two assists as the Golden Knights defeated Arizona 6-1 Saturday.
McNabb scored his third of the season and now has 16 points in what was his best offensive showing of the season. Jack Eichel, Zach Whitecloud, Max Pacioretty, Evgenii Dadonov and Jake Leschyshyn also replied for Vegas who are closing in on a playoff spot as they sit in ninth place in the West but only two points shy of the Kings who are third in the Pacific.
Brayden McNabb has been removed from injured reserve, according to the NHL Media Site.
Coach Pete DeBoer said that McNabb would probably be back in the lineup on Wednesday night and this move suggests that will be the case. He had been out since Mar. 3 due to an upper-body injury. McNabb has 11 points, 62 shots, 141 blocks and 113 hits in 55 matches this season.
Brayden McNabb (upper body) will be a game-time decision on Wednesday night.
McNabb was a full participant in the morning skate after he practiced fully on Tuesday. Coach Pete DeBoer called the Vegas blueliner an option for Wednesday's game. He has been out since Mar. 3 due to an upper-body injury. McNabb has a 11 points, 62 shots, 141 blocks and 113 hits in 55 matches this season.
Brayden McNabb (upper body) wore a regular jersey during Tuesday's practice.
McNabb skated with the Golden Knights on Monday too, but he was wearing a no-contact jersey at that time. He was last in the lineup on March 3, but appears to be getting close to returning.
