Lee came through with a little icing on the cake when he scored with under five minutes remaining in regulation to give the Islanders a cushy 4-1 advantage. Overall this season, the veteran forward has posted 27 goals and 44 points in 74 games played. He had gone six straight games without a goal before coming through in high style against the Caps.

Lee has recorded four multi-point games in the span of his last five contests. He has 25 goals and 40 points in 59 games in 2021-22.

Brock Nelson and Zach Parise accounted for the Islanders' other two goals. In Nelson's case, it was his 30th goal of the season. Anthony Beauvillier, Kyle Palmieri, Jean-Gabriel Pageau, Noah Dobson, and Zdeno Chara each registered an assist for the Islanders.

Lee had goals in all four games this past week and is more than likely to be one of the NHL's three stars of the week as he also chipped in with an assist. Overall, Lee has 21 goals and 28 points in 50 games as he had been having a horrible season before this week. Kudos if you had him in your fantasy lineup this past week.
