Kenny McIntosh rushed seven times for 46 yards in the Seahawks’ Week 17 win over the Bears.
Kenny McIntosh had seven rushes for 38 yards in the Seahawks’ Week 14 win against the Cardinals, adding two catches for seven yards.
In a run heavy game script, McIntosh totaled nine touches while Zach Charbonnet went ballistic on 29 touches. McIntosh could once again function as the Seahawks’ No. 2 back in Week 15 against the Packers if Ken Walker (calf) remains out.
Seahawks designated RB Kenny McIntosh (knee) to return from IR.
McIntosh was diagnosed with a sprained left knee in early August and was placed on Injured Reserve. The rookie 7th round pick impressed in the offseason with head coach Pete Carroll calling him “special” and saying he had already emerged as a leader in the RB room. With Kenneth Walker and Zach Charbonnet operating ahead of him, McIntosh in unlikely to have a major fantasy role, but the Seahawks now have 21 days to decide whether they want to activate him or not.
Seahawks RB Kenny McIntosh (knee/hamstring) will not play in Week 1 against the Rams.
McIntosh was diagnosed with a sprained left knee nearly a month ago and was already in line to miss several weeks while recovering from the injury. McIntosh didn’t log a practice this week, the team’s decision to not place him on short-term injured reserve suggests he could be back in another week or two. Once he’s back, McIntosh will be low in the pecking order for touches with Kenneth Walker and Zach Charbonnet playing well ahead of him on the depth chart.
