Parker Washington caught 2-of-4 targets for 15 yards and a touchdown in the Jaguars’ Week 18 loss to the Colts.

Washington closed the year with his third and most exciting touchdown. He caught the ball near the end zone, had it knocked out of his hands, and then re-caught it mid-air as he fell into the paint. A solid Week 18 propelled him to a 32/390/3 receiving line on the year. Just like in 2023, Washington didn’t play much early in the season but stepped up after multiple Jacksonville wideouts went down with various injuries. Washington is under contract for two more seasons and will return as a depth piece in 2025.

Washington was the Jaguars’ No. 2 receiving option, although that meant just three targets on the day. He made an impressive catch in the back of the end zone in the second quarter, getting both of his feet down for the two-yard score. Outside of the touchdown, Washington made a pair of catches over the middle of the field, but did not see much production otherwise. He is a long-term pass-catching option for the Jaguars, but is merely in the WR5 range for Week 18 fantasy purposes.

Washington, 22, was the top target for much of the game for Mac Jones until Jones remembered Brian Thomas Jr. played for the team. The 2023 sixth-round pick has shown some flashes over the last few weeks, but his lack of use in the red zone — on top of Jacksonville not getting there very often — makes him more of a long-term option than one fantasy managers should be clamoring for.

It was another disappointing box score, this one with target hog Evan Engram sidelined. Mac Jones instead locked onto backup TE Brenton Strange behind Brian Thomas Jr. We know Washington will probably have one more PPR pop up down the stretch, but it’s not worth trying to predict when in this limited offense.
