Seahawks waived QB Jaren Hall.
With Drew Lock and Jalen Milroe added shortly before and during the draft, Seattle’s room had become too crowded for Hall to crack. The 27-year-old started twice for the Vikings in 2023 and threw for 168 yards on 20 attempts, getting intercepted once. He’ll try to find a third-quarterback role elsewhere.
Seahawks declared QB Jaren Hall, OL Michael Jerrell, CB Nehemiah Pritchett, LB Patrick O’Connell, TE Brady Russell and WR Cody White inactive for Week 17 against the Bears.
Hall will be the emergency third quarterback for the Seahawks for a second straight week, and will only play if there are injuries to Geno Smith and Sam Howell in the Thursday contest vs. Chicago.
Seahawks declared QB Jaren Hall, EDGE Mike Morris, WR Dareke Young, CB Nehemiah Pritchett, S AJ Finley, S Jerrick Reed and LB Trevis Gipson inactive for Week 13 against the Jets.
Hall was elevated from the practice squad Saturday but remains inactive as the Seahawks’ No. 3 quarterback.
Seahawks signed QB Jaren Hall, formerly of the Vikings.
Hall will get a chance to further his development with the Seahawks. The former fifth-round pick spent one season with the Vikings but was let go on roster cutdown day. Hall completed 13-of-20 passes for 168 yards and one interception in limited action as a rookie. Barring an absolutely dire situation at quarterback for the Seahawks in 2024, we would expect to see little, if any, of Hall.
