Seahawks CB Devon Witherspoon (foot) was removed from the injury report and will play in Week 9 against the Rams.
Witherspoon missed Wednesday’s practice with a foot injury but logged full sessions on Thursday and Friday. The second-year corner has had a quiet 2024 season with just one pass breakup and no picks. Seattle will need him to make a bigger impact for their Week 9 matchup with the Rams.
Devon Witherspoon (foot) did not practice Wednesday.
The Seahawks’ starting slot cornerback joins a long list of injured defenders with a foot injury. Brutal luck. Witherspoon will work to get right for a divisional showdown against the Rams on Sunday though foot injuries can be problematic.
Seahawks CB Devon Witherspoon (hamstring) was limited in Wednesday’s practice.
Witherspoon has played in the Seahawks’ first two games, so a limited designation in a Wednesday practice for Week 3 is not a major concern. Just notable in case the Seahawks’ top corner indeed misses time. Safety K’Von Wallace (shoulder) missed practice, though the secondary was not nearly as depleted as the team’s front seven.
Seahawks CB Devon Witherspoon (hip) is questionable for Week 17 against the Steelers.
Witherspoon has missed two games because of the hip issue. The rookie corner has been excellent this year, totaling 15 pass breakups, three sacks, and an interception. Safety Jamal Adams returned to practice this week but will miss Sunday’s game as he continues to deal with a knee injury.
