2024 Player Outlook
Last season was an absolute abomination for those who invested first-round fantasy draft capital in Bijan Robinson. Who knew Arthur Smith would be so bad at his job that it would ruin fantasy seasons across the globe? Smith asked the Falcons to buy him a Ferrari (No. 8 overall in the 2023 NFL Draft) which he promptly kept hidden away in a garage, never to see the open road. It was such a mind-numbing approach to the season, especially after watching Robinson flash his potential during the rare moments when he was handed the ball, that Smith became the most hated man in football and lost his job the Monday after Atlanta’s final game. Now with head coach Raheem Morris and offensive coordinator Zac Robinson running the show, expectations just might be even higher this season. The Falcons added Kirk Cousins who, even after an Achilles injury, is a much better option than either Desmond Ridder or Taylor Heinicke, and his presence alone should open things up more for Robinson. Defenses will not be able to stack the box which will open the running room, but we should also expect his pass-catching skills to shine in this scheme as well. There’s a reason he is on the cover of our 2024 Draft Guide and we expect a surge this season worthy of a first-round selection.

Bijan Robinson had 28 rushes for 170 yards and two touchdowns in the Falcons’ Week 18 loss against the Panthers, adding two catches for three yards.
Bijan Robinson rushed 17 times for 90 yards and two touchdowns in the Falcons’ Week 17 loss to the Commanders, adding eight yards on three receptions.
Robinson did the bulk of this damage before halftime, scoring both touchdowns in the first two quarters as the team took a 17-7 lead into the break. The Falcons would then struggle to sustain drives in the second half, something the nuked Robinson’s opportunities in the process. The Falcons ultimately fell in catastrophic fashion in overtime after missing a 57-yard field goal as time expired in regulation, dropping them to the No. 8 seed in the NFC with one game remaining in the regular season. Their path to the postseason now involves a win over the Panthers in Week 18 and a Buccaneers loss to the Saints.
Bijan Robinson rushed 22 times for 94 yards and two touchdowns in the Falcons’ Week 16 beatdown of the Giants, adding two receptions for nine yards.
Bijan Robinson rushed 22 times for 125 yards in the Falcons’ Week 15 win over the Raiders, adding 10 yards on his lone reception.
The Falcons’ defense was able to limit the Desmond Ridder-led Raiders enough to allow the offense to function primarily through the run, which resulted in 37 team carries to only 17 pass attempts. Robinson’s fourth quarter allowed him to blow by the century mark on the ground on a night the offense managed only one touchdown. They get another weak opponent in the Giants in Week 15, against whom Robinson should have another opportunity for solid volume.
