Ross has posted plenty of camp highlights over the last two offseasons and was once viewed as a potential contributor to the Chiefs’ offense if he could kick the injury bugs that plagued him in college. Unfortunately for Ross, who is seemingly healthy, three years wasn’t enough time to earn a role with the Chiefs. Last year’s arrest and suspension also didn’t do him any favors. Ross was once considered a top receiver prospect before injuries slowed him while at Clemson. We’ll see if any teams take a shot on him in the coming days not that he’s available.

Ross was given a six-game suspension after being placed on the Commissioner Exempt List in October. The NFL took action after Ross was arrested for misdemeanor domestic battery and misdemeanor property damage. He is eligible to return this week and appears on track to do so. Ross isn’t on the redraft radar but could see an uptick in reps late in the season as the Chiefs attempt to find some production at wideout beyond Rashee Rice.

Week 14 will mark Ross’ sixth missed game, making him eligible to return. The former UDFA, who has been the subject of Chiefs training camp in back-to-back offseasons, has three receptions for 34 yards this year.
