Grant Calcaterra was held without a target in the Eagles’ Super Bowl LIX victory over the Chiefs.
A third-year sixth-rounder, Calcaterra was needed for 13 starts with always-injured Dallas Goedert missing two lengthy stretches. Calcaterra posted a 24/298/1 receiving slash after catching nine total balls across his first two years in the league. Good for Calcaterra, but his yards per route run was a gasping 0.98, placing him at 39th amongst seam stretchers in PFF’s database. Even if Goedert is cut loose ahead of 2025, Calcaterra doesn’t have the looks of a “secret” Dynasty league stash heading into the final year of his rookie deal.
Grant Calcaterra was not targeted in the Eagles’ Week 16 loss against the Commanders.
Calcaterra ran 27 routes on 40 Philadelphia drop backs but did not see a target as AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith dominated looks from Jalen Hurts and Kenny Pickett. Calcaterra, with four catches over the past three games, has proven not to be fantasy viable even with Dallas Goedert sidelined.
Grant Calcaterra caught 3-of-3 targets for 16 yards and a touchdown in Philadelphia’s Week 14 win over the Panthers.
It was his first career NFL touchdown. Calcaterra has had a nice little season as a Dallas Goedert fill-in, but hasn’t really risen to more than TD-or-bust starter in fantasy football circles.
Grant Calcaterra caught 5-of-5 targets for 30 yards in the Eagles’ Week 9 win against the Jaguars.
Working as the team’s No. 1 tight end with Dallas Goedert (hamstring) still sidelined, Calcaterra was second among Eagles pass catchers in targets, functioning as a reliable dump off option for Jalen Hurts. Calcaterra now has eight catches for 88 yards over the past two games. He should be viable in deeper leagues for as long as Goedert is sidelined.
