Woods suffered the injury in an offseason workout with Deshaun Watson. Woods was active for 10 games last season, seeing 155 offensive snaps and contributing on special teams. The 2022 sixth-rounder will likely face a fight to make the roster in 2024 if they hold on to him through the injury. 

Woods was listed as questionable on the Browns' injury report. The sixth-round rookie has been sidelined since the first week of August. Woods not going on IR means the Browns expect him to return before Week 4.

Woods went through receiver drills for the first time since a setback with his hamstring in early August. The sixth-round rookie made the Browns' 53-man roster despite missing most of OTAs and the preseason. Returning to practice is a good sign for Woods' chances of being ready for Week 1. 

This could hinder the Day 3 prospect's odds of making the 53-man roster, though the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports the Oklahoma product has been the "No. 1 standout among young players in training camp." Woods has apparently displayed "good speed, hands and toughness." Be that as it may, he is a name for only the deepest of Dynasty leagues.
