Browns claimed EDGE Cameron Thomas off waivers from the Chiefs.
Thomas played just six snaps with the Chiefs in 2024, but was a solid rotational edge for the Cardinals in 2022 and 2023. The Browns will get a look at him over their last six games of the season. Kansas City acquired him at final cuts, and Thomas will be on year four of his rookie deal for the Browns in 2025 if they want him back.

The biggest news out of Kansas City heading into Week 3 is the absence of running back Isiah Pacheco. Also, running back Kareem Hunt was signed to the practice squad and not elevated prior to the team’s Sunday Night Football game.

Thomas was a third-round pick in the 2022 NFL draft and a second-team All-American in his last year at San Diego State. Thomas gives the Chiefs more edge depth as they wait for the return of injured pass rusher Charles Omenihu.
