2024 Player Outlook

At the end of his rookie season in 2022, Wan'Dale Robinson suffered a torn ACL that led him to start slow in 2023, including missing both of the first two games. As the season went on he did manage games of 7, 8, and 9 targets though he only surpassed 80 yards once on the season in the final game. There are two barriers for upside for the young pass catcher. The first is proving that he can be an every down player in this offense. Last year he ran 78% of his snaps from the slot but came out for two WR sets which led him to primarily play 60-70% of the snaps most games. The other barrier is quarterback play. And for that we either need Daniel Jones to step up in 2024 or Drew Lock to take over.

Wan’Dale Robinson caught 10-of-11 targets for 43 yards in the Giants’ Week 18 loss to the Eagles

It was another season of PPR scamming for Robinson, who set season-highs in nearly every receiving mark. More than a year removed from a torn ACL he suffered in 2022, Robinson was healthy for all 17 games this season and proved to be a valuable asset out of the slot, where he lined up from on nearly 80 percent of his snaps. Robinson hasn’t ben the explosive playmaker we saw out of college, but his ability to move the chains and keep the offense on schedule makes him a valuable asset. He’ll profile as a WR3/WR4 in PPR leagues next season in an offense that should be much improved from this season.

Wan’Dale Robinson caught 5-of-6 targets for 71 yards and a touchdown in the Giants’ Week 17 win over the Colts.

Robinson’s missed connection was an awful fourth quarter drop he quickly atoned for with 18- and 35-yard receptions to set the Giants up for a touchdown. Robinson was a distant second fiddle to an erupting Malik Nabers, but the 71 yards matched his season high from Week 4 as Drew Lock played the best game by any Giants QB all year. The mighty Eagles await for Week 18, but they could be resting many key starters.

Wan’Dale Robinson caught 7-of-12 targets for 62 yards in the Giants’ Week 16 loss to the Falcons.

Robinson also negated a fourth quarter Tyrone Tracy touchdown with a holding penalty. Robinson’s typically empty calorie effort did feature his most receptions since Week 4, but that was also the last time he reached 70 yards. This offense needs to go back to square one in 2025. Robinson can’t be such a big part of the attack. The Colts’ elite pass defense awaits for Week 17.

Wan’Dale Robinson (shoulder) was removed from the injury report and will play in Week 16 against the Falcons.

Robinson relies on high target volume and reasonable accuracy to produce in fantasy. Both factors have been an issue since Daniel Jones’ Week 11 departure. The shifty slot receiver is earning targets at just a 14.9 percent rate while averaging 0.80 yards per route run over the last five weeks. He is a low-floor WR5/6 with Drew Lock under center.
