Austin Trammell caught 2-of-3 targets for 40 yards in the Jaguars’ Week 9 loss to the Eagles.
Working as the team’s No. 3 receiver, Trammell had a couple nice grabs in the second half, including a 22-yarder on the sideline. Trammell won’t have fantasy relevance unless Jacksonville suffers more receiver injuries. Once Gabe Davis returns to action, Trammell will likely revert to special teams.
Jaguars signed WR Austin Trammell, formerly of the Rams.
The Jaguars released interior offensive lineman Jack Anderson in a corresponding move. Trammell earned just 10 targets through three NFL seasons, largely operating as a special teams contributor. His 0.6 missed tackles forced per punt return rank seventh among 26 NFL players with at least 25 total returns.
Austin Trammell caught 3-of-6 targets for 23 yards in the Rams’ Week 11 win.
Matthew Stafford looked Trammell’s way quite a bit as he was third on the team in targets. Once Cooper Kupp went down with and injury, Trammell’s involvement increased. It’ll be interesting to see how this develops going forward, but you shouldn’t rush to add him.
