Dolphins re-signed WR Dee Eskridge to a one-year contract.
Eskridge will chip in with the occasional target and kick return but he is not on the fantasy radar. He averaged 29.2 yards per kick return on five returns last year and caught 3-of-3 targets for 47 yards.
Seahawks waived WR Dee Eskridge.
Eskridge was a second-round pick of the Seahawks back in 2021. Known more for his return skills than his pass-catching prowess, Eskridge has caught 17 passes for 122 yards and one touchdown in 24 games. Eskridge has been overshadowed by nearly every receiver the Seahawks have brought in since he first joined the team and will now be looking for a new home in the coming days. If he clears waivers, Eskridge will be free to sign with wherever he pleases.
Seahawks declared WR Dee Eskridge, RB Kenny McIntosh, OT McClendon Curtis, OG Anthony Bradford, OT Raiqwon O’Neal, and DE Myles Adams inactive for Week 10 against the Commanders.
Nothing to see here, as the Seahawks and their top three receivers are all good to go for the week. They face a Commanders offense that’s allowing the fifth-most passing yards per game (252.7) and is prone to giving up big plays through the air.
Seahawks WR D’Wayne Eskridge was suspended six games for violations of the personal conduct policy.
It’s unclear why Eskridge was suspended. Entering his third season, the former second-round pick had 17 catches to his name. He was not going to factor into Seattle’s gameplan on offense after they took Jaxon Smith-Njigba in the first round.
