49ers agreed to terms with CB Tre Brown, formerly of the Seahawks, to a one-year contract.
Brown appeared in 28 games and started ten games for the Seahawks over the past two seasons. He has two interceptions over 39 NFL games since entering the league in 2021. Brown will join a San Francisco secondary graded by PFF as last season’s third best coverage unit.
Seahawks CB Tre Brown (ankle) ruled out for Week 7 against the Falcons.
The Seahawks will be without two cornerback starters for this one, which signals a potential pass-happy shootout. Hopefully, the unit can return to full health for the Seahawks’ Week 8 game against the Bills.
Seahawks CB Tre Brown suffered a hand injury in Seattle’s Week 6 game against the 49ers and will not return.
Deemed questionable early in the second half, Brown was later ruled out. He’s been replaced by fifth-round rookie, Nehemiah Pritchett who has arguably played better.
Seahawks HC Pete Carroll said DB Tre Brown has entered concussion protocol.
The Seahawks continue to be bit by the injury bug. Brown played in place of injured cornerback Tariq Woolen in Sunday’s win over the Panthers, but exited with a head injury and will now have to be cleared in time for Week 4’s matchup against the Giants. The Seahawks don’t play until Monday, giving Brown some extra time to get cleared, but Carroll also said Woolen is on track to return in Week 4.
