Dickerson injured his left knee during the NFC Championship, and the issue is serious enough that he’ll need to undergo an operation. He was not forthcoming on further details. The 26-year-old will hope to be back for workouts, but that obviously will depend on the severity of the injury and how his rehab goes. It’d be a big loss for Philadelphia, as Dickerson is as good as any guard in the sport right now.

The severity of Dickerson’s injury has not yet been revealed but any missed time would be a big loss. He will likely be replaced by OG Tyler Steen, who “lost the right guard job over the summer to Mekhi Becton,” per the Philly’s Voice’s Jimmy Kempski.

Dickerson at $21 million per year, is now the highest-paid guard in NFL history, and is under contract through 2027. The former second-round pick has made two Pro Bowls in his first three seasons while starting 46 of the 47 games he’s appeared in. Amongst guards with at least 1,000 snaps last season, Dickerson graded as the 11th best guard in the league, earning a PFF blocking grade of 70.0. He started 15 games for the Eagles at left guard in 2023 and also drew a start at center in the Week 18 finale.

Dickerson injured his right elbow in the NFC Championship game. He was forced to leave in the fourth quarter and did not return, though the game was already decided by that point. He got in a pair of full practices in the Eagles' final week of Super Bowl prep and is ready to go.
