The contract details haven’t been reported yet but it’s presumably a one-year deal for Reagor. The former first-round pick signed to the Bolts’ practice squad a few weeks into the 2024 season and was eventually called up midseason. He appeared in eight games and recorded seven catches for 100 yards. Reagor will be a depth option and a special teamer if he makes the Chargers’ 53-man roster this year.

Reagor snuck free behind the Arizona defense in the first quarter for a 41-yard gain down the left hash but was chased down from behind and lost a fumble at the Arizona three yard line. That play would set the tone of the game for both teams, with the Cardinals holding the Chargers out of the end zone and forcing five field goals. Reagor remains a fantasy long shot moving forward.

The former first-round wide receiver has failed to carve out a significant role with three different franchises during his four-year NFL career, landing now in a rather talent-deprived wide receiver room with the Chargers. The team hosted him for a visit on Monday and signed him to the practice squad the same day. He’ll at least have a chance to earn his way onto the active game-day roster in the near future.

Los Angeles’ WR depth has been tested with Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua both down, and the Rams decided to see what Reagor could put on the field in response. Reagor played for the Patriots last season, amassing a 7/138/0 line over 11 games, but released him from the practice squad last week. It sure seems likely he would have more opportunity on the Rams practice squad as things currently stand.
