Vikings agreed to terms with EDGE Jonathan Greenard, formerly of the Texans, on a four-year, $76 million contract.
Texans EDGE Jonathan Greenard (ankle) will not play in Week 17 against the Titans.
Defensive tackles Maliek Collins and Sheldon Rankins are questionable, as is EDGE Will Anderson. That’s the Texans’ top four pass-rushers all listed as either out or questionable. Greenard easily leads the unit in sacks with 12.5 on the season. The cluster of injuries should give Will Levis plenty of clean pockets to work from this week.
Texans EDGE Jonathan Greenard suffered an ankle injury in Houston’s Week 16 game against the Browns and will not return.
Greenard went down in the first half and was ruled out during the break. A passing-down havoc creator, Greenard has 12.5 sacks this season. It’s a big loss for a team whose playoff chances are getting sabotaged by injury.
Texans placed DE Jonathan Greenard (calf) on injured reserve.
Greenard hasn't played since Week 4 and was ruled out after a setback this week. The Texans expect him to miss 4-6 weeks, putting his earliest return at Week 11. Rasheem Green will start opposite Jerry Hughes in Greenard's absence.
