Bills sign WR/KR Laviska Shenault, formerly of the Chargers, to a contract.
Shenault’s wide receiver labeling is perhaps a formality at this point. He earned just 15 targets over the last two seasons but averaged 28.7 yards per kick return, via 16 returns, with the Seahawks and Chargers last year. Shenault can still provide the occasional splash play though and may be able to work his way into the Bills’ thin wide receiver rotation.
Seahawks WR Laviska Shenault Jr. (back) did not participate in Wednesday’s practice.
Shenault left Week 11 against the 49ers early and did not return. He now starts out the week listed as DNP on Wednesday. If Shenault cannot get a practice in by the end of the week, the Seahawks’ special teams depth will be tested. Dee Williams is the team’s other primary returner if Shenault does not play Week 12 against the Cardinals, though Williams (ankle) also did not practice Wednesday.
Seahawks WR Laviska Shenault Jr. (back) did not participate in Wednesday’s practice.
Shenault was listed as a non-participant in the Seahawks’ Wednesday practice with a back injury. He has four catches for 26 yards on the season, but has made an impact returning kicks. With 11 returns for 369 yards and a touchdown, Shenault’s production will need to be replaced by Dee Williams or Kenny McIntosh if he cannot go Week 7 against the Falcons.
Seahawks WR Laviska Shenault Jr. (foot) is questionable to play in Week 3 against the Dolphins.
Shenault’s Friday practice participation has yet to be released but he logged consecutive Full Participant designations to begin the weeks. He has strong odds of suiting up but is not relevant for fantasy purposes.
