Toohill will serve as a rotational player for the Texans, whose starting defensive ends, Danielle Hunter and Will Anderson Jr., are firmly entrenched. Toohill inefficiently totaled six quarterback pressures and one sack on 118 pass-rushing snaps last season.

Although old for a prospect (24 in August), Toohill (6'4/250) Toohill enticed with a breakout senior season and strong Combine. He registered 11.5 TFL and eight sacks as a first-year starter in 2019. Toohill struggled with injuries his first three years with the Cardinal but drew attention for his academic work. Toohill is a bit of a 'tweener but has just enough projectable traits to get some time to develop on the practice squad.
