Steelers re-signed WR Scotty Miller to a one-year contract.
Miller caught five passes for 69 yards last season while playing in a limited backup role. The veteran receiver joined the Steelers after spending the 2023 season with the Falcons and current Steelers OC Arthur Smith. His best season came in 2020, when he posted a 33-501-3 line while with the Buccaneers, but there’s no reason to expect him to replicate that line anytime soon.
Steelers declared WR Scotty Miller, QB Kyle Allen, WR Jamal Agnew, G Mason McCormick, LB Preston Smith, DE Dean Lowry, and CB Cory Trice inactive for the Wild Card Round against the Ravens.
The Steelers enter the playoffs among the healthiest teams in the NFL. With Georg Pickens fully healthy, the Steelers will hope the mercurial wideout comes through with a big outing against a vulnerable Baltimore secondary.
Steelers released WR Scotty Miller.
Miller did not make much of an impact with the Steelers with just five catches on nine targets for 69 yards with no touchdowns. The former Bowling Green star will likely be a depth add for a roster in 2025.
Scott Miller caught 3-of-4 targets for 37 yards in the Steelers’ Week 14 win over the Browns.
With George Pickens (hamstring) sidelined, Miller emerged to lead all Steelers receivers in targets and receiving yards. The journeyman hauled in an impressive grab along the sideline for a 21-yard gain in the fourth quarter but was otherwise held in check — as expected. There’s no fantasy upside here even if Pickens does miss another week.
