Broncos signed LG Ben Powers, formerly of the Ravens, to a four-year, $52 million contract.
Per 9News's Mike Klis, the deal is in the work but not official yet. Expect the contract to be finalized and cap numbers revealed in the coming days. Powers was drafted by the Ravens in 2019 and has been a full-time starter in each of the past two years. He put his best work on tape last year, allowing 12 pressures and zero sacks across 597 pass-blocking reps.
Powers (thumb) wasn't listed on Wednesday's injury report, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
Powers was inactive for Monday's win over the Rams but now appears fully clear of the thumb injury. The rookie fourth-round pick has yet to appear in a game this season.
Powers (thumb) is inactive for Monday's matchup with the Rams.
While Powers was able to log full practices to close out the week, the Ravens will err on the side of cation in this one. His next chance to suit up will be Sunday versus the 49ers.
Powers has a thumb injury and is questionable for Monday's game against the Rams, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.
Powers was a full practice participant Saturday, so he figures to be available for Monday's contest. The 23-year-old has yet to appear in a game this season.
