Campbell is unlikely to play ahead of Jalen Tolbert and Jonathan Mingo, meaning he is likely a depth signing for a Cowboys team longing for consistency behind alpha wide receiver CeeDee Lamb. 2025 looks to be shaping up as another high-volume season for Lamb and tight end Jake Ferguson considering the current state of their skill position corps.

Campbell, who failed to crack the 53-man roster at last cuts, caught a touchdown in Week 4 while A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith were both out. Still just 27, Campbell will be out there for WR-needy teams to take a shot on.

It was Campbell’s first touchdown grab in nearly two years. He was thrust into a larger role with DeVonta Smith and A.J. Brown out this week and wound up leading the Dallas receivers in catches. His 17 yards inexplicably led the wideouts as well, though two tight ends and Saquon Barkley beat him in that category. Campbell should return to a part-time role coming out of Philly’s Week 5 bye, keeping him out of the fantasy conversation for the foreseeable future.

Campbell is a notable elevation with AJ Brown sidelined for Monday Night’s game against the Falcons. The wideout could see some targets with Brown unavailable, but there still isn’t much fantasy upside in the former second-round pick’s profile.
