Sharif Finch

Finch was waived by Tennessee over the weekend and, after claiming him Monday, it appears the Bengals have now found out why the Titans may have let him go. It's not clear what kind of health issue the 24-year-old may be dealing.

Finch suited up in eight games for the Titans this campaign, making 27 tackles (20 solo) and 1.5 sacks. It's unclear if the 24-year-old will suit up for Week 17, but he'll add some depth to the linebacker heading into the end of the season.

The Titans needed depth at running back since Derrick Henry (hamstring) is questionable, so Finch had to be let go to make room. The 24-year-old Finch has played in eight games this year, recording 13 tackles and two sacks. If he clears waivers, he should land on the practice squad.

Finch came back from a three-game absence Sunday and made his second sack of the season, bringing down quarterback Kyle Allen. He'll work to make the most of his rotational role once again during Week 10's matchup against the Chiefs.
