Raiders signed DT Tyler Lancaster, formerly of the Packers.

A rotational lineman for Green Bay the last four season, the former UDFA out of Northwestern carved out a significant role on the Packers' front, appearing in 59 total games. He's played roughly a third of the defensive snaps since entering the league and has 1.5 sacks.

Packers declared DB Shawn Davis, DB Vernon Scott, OL David Bakhtiari, OL Billy Turner, and DL Jack Heflin inactive for Week 17 against the Vikings.

Lancaster should be helpful in stopping the Vikings' ferocious run game led by Dalvin Cook, and that could be especially important in a game where Minnesota could lean on the ground attack without Kirk Cousins. With that being said, the big defensive lineman has only topped a 50% snap share once all season, so the Packers will need a team effort to stop Cook and Alexander Mattison on Sunday Night Football.

Packers re-signed DL Tyler Lancaster.

Lancaster was non-tendered as a restricted free agent but the Packers are bringing him back at a lower salary. An early down run stopper, Lancaster played 34% of snaps last year and has started 18-of-43 games since 2018. The 26-year-old will return as a rotational lineman and contribute on special teams.

ESPN's Rob Demovsky reports the Packers won't tender restricted free agent DL Tyler Lancaster.

Green Bay may try and bring him back at a lower price than the $2.133 million tender he would've garnered. Lancaster has served as a rotational player the past three seasons, totaling 18 starts and 43 appearances since 2018. He'll be used in a similar role whether he sticks in Wisconsin or signs elsewhere.
