Broncos promoted RB Blake Watson to the active roster.
Watson is an undrafted free agent out of Memphis and has four carries for 10 yards this season. He made the initial 53-man roster for Denver, but was cut and re-signed to the practice squad in October. He returns to the active roster now to throw more hands into the murky Broncos backfield. CB Levi Wallace will be waived in a corresponding move.
Broncos declared CB Levi Wallace, CB Riley Moss, DL Eyioma Uwazurike, LB Levelle Bailey, OG Nick Gargiulo, OT Frank Crum, and QB Zach Wilson inactive for Week 15 against the Colts.
Broncos signed CB Levi Wallace, formerly of the Steelers, to a one-year contract.
Per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the deal isn’t final yet but is expected to happen. We should see the move made official within the next few days. Wallace was a four-year starter with the Bills before signing a two-year deal with the Steelers. He appeared in 31 regular season games for the Steelers, 18 of which were credited as starts. Wallace broke up 11 passes in 2023.
Bleacher Report’s Jordan Schultz reports the Broncos are expected to meet with free agent CB Levi Wallace.
