Titans re-signed DE Ola Adeniyi to a one-year contract.
Adeniyi appeared in 16 games for the Titans last season after spending the previous three years with the Steelers. He played on a career-best 207 defensive snaps in 2021 and registered the first 2.5 sacks of his career while also being named a Pro Bowl alternate on special teams.
Titans signed OLB Ola Adeniyi, formerly of the Steelers, to a one-year contract.
Adeniyi is considered a rotational defensive player and an excellent special teamer. He'll join a Tennessee special teams unit graded by Pro Football Focus as last year's fifth worst unit. Adeniyi will join former Steelers LB Bud Dupree in Tennessee.
Adeniyi failed to record a tackle in Sunday's 28-10 loss to the Ravens.
Adeniyi finishes the 2019 season having played just 64 defensive snaps with eight tackles and two forced fumbles in 16 games. He has one year remaining on his contract heading into 2020.
Adeniyi (concussion) practiced in full Thursday.
Adeniyi left Week 11's loss to the Browns but has had extra time to recover since the game was on Thursday. He'll return to provide the Steelers depth at linebacker and on special teams.
