Jullian Taylor

If Taylor goes unclaimed on waivers, he will revert back to the Vikings roster on injured reserve. Taylor hasn't appeared in a game since 2019 when he suffered a torn ACL. He has four TFLs and two QB hits across 12 career appearances dating back to 2018.

A 2018 seventh-round pick of the 49ers, Taylor made six appearances each of his first two years in the league before a torn ACL knocked him out of commission. He has not appeared in the regular season since. New Vikings GM Kwesi Adofo-Mensah was in the San Fran front office at the time of Taylor's selection. He is a 53-man roster long shot. 

Taylor tore his ACL at Thursday's practice. He was subsequently replaced on the roster by undrafted rookie defensive lineman Kevin Givens. It is unclear at this time if he will be ready for the start of the 2020 season.

Once he is placed on injured reserve, Taylor's roster spot will go to undrafted rookie defensive lineman Kevin Givens. The 49ers have been ravaged by injury along their defensive front, losing starting nose tackle D.J. Jones (ankle) and edge rushers Damontre Moore (forearm) and Ronald Blair (knee) for the season.
