Steelers signed CB Duke Dawson, WR Ja'Marcus Bradley, OG William Dunkle, LB Emeke Egbule, RB Jason Huntley, C Ryan McCollum, S Scott Nelson, RB Master Teague, WR Cody White and TE Rodney Williams to reserve/future contracts.
Dawson, a former Patriots second-rounder, has not had an official NFL appearance since 2020. Almost all of these players finished the 2022 season on Pittsburgh's practice squad.
Dawson (concussion) is active for Sunday's game against the Chargers.
After sustaining a concussion during Week 12's loss to the Bills, Dawson made the necessary steps through the league's protocol to suit up for this AFC West clash. The second-year corner has logged at least a 66-percent snap share in four straight games, so he could see similar usage in this contest.
Dawson (concussion) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Chargers.
Dawson returned to practice on a limited basis Friday after sitting out the first two sessions of the week. Isaac Yiadom or recently-demoted Devontae Harris could fill in if the 24-year-old is unable to play.
Dawson won't return to Sunday's game against the Bills after suffering a concussion, Patrick Smyth of the Broncos' official site reports.
Dawson has logged hefty workloads over the last six games, but now Isaac Yiadom will likely take over his role for the remainder of the contest. The second-year cornerback will be monitored during the upcoming practice week ahead of next Sunday's matchup against the Chargers.
