Dunn has appeared in 40 games and made six starts for the Browns in his career. Cleveland opened up a spot on the active roster by placing Alex Wright on injured reserve.

Dunn played a backup role for the Browns in 2023, appearing on just 248 snaps while drawing two starts. Dunn entered the league as a UDFA with the Rams in 2017 but didn’t see a regular season snap until 2020 with the Browns. He’ll likely compete for a backup spot in camp.

Dunn has played in 28 games for the Browns since 2020, which includes four starts, and entered the league as an undrafted free agent in 2017. At 28 years old, it wouldn’t be surprising to see another team sign him for additional depth in the coming weeks.

Dunn was filling in for COVID-positive Joel Bitonio in the Wild Card Round. Dunn's injury forced the Browns to turn to a player Baker Mayfield had literally never met (Blake Hance). Bitonio should be back for the Browns' Divisional Round showdown with the Chiefs. Dunn would be eligible to return for a theoretical Super Bowl appearance.
