It's an aggressive post to hand Webb in his first year as a professional coach, but he was quite well-regarded and was offered the Bills' quarterback coach job prior to the 2022 season. Webb will be tasked with fixing Russell Wilson this offseason, so, you know, good luck. Webb is six years younger than Wilson. 

Webb received a spot start in the Giants' Week 18 season finale against the Eagles earlier this month, marking his first career start since entering the league in 2017. Webb was offered an opportunity to serve as the Bills' quarterbacks coach for the 2022 season but instead signed with the Giants as a backup behind Daniel Jones and Tyrod Taylor. Webb has appeared in just two games during his NFL career, throwing for 168 yards and one touchdown while rushing for 38 yards and another score.

Webb was filling in for Daniel Jones, who the Giants were resting for the playoffs. Webb showed decently, particularly as a rusher. Webb ran over an Eagles defender for a 14-yard rushing TD. He also hit Kenny Golladay for a 25-yard TD in the back order of the end zone. Webb will return to the bench when the Giants play in the Wild Card Round.

Webb was called up from the practice squad earlier this week. Initially drafted by the Giants in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft, Webb has since spent time with the Bills and Jets. His only NFL action came in 2021 when he handled a pair of kneels for Buffalo in the middle of the season. Webb's first pass of the day will be the first of his career in a regular season game. The Giants' offense will be a disaster by design in Week 18 as they are resting their starters for the playoffs. The only player who could return fantasy value will be Gary Brightwell, who is expected to get the bulk of the carries with Saquon Barkley and possibly Matt Breida resting.
