Austin Carr

Carr was a restricted free agent, but the Saints did not offer him the "low" tender of $2.133 million. He is probably returning for less than half that. Headed into his age-27 campaign, Carr has 10 catches over the past two seasons. He will focus on special teams in 2020.

Carr was placed on injured reserve toward the end of November and apparently needed surgery to address the ankle injury. The 25-year-old's recovery timetable remains unclear, but he'll have about seven months to heal before the start of training camp.

Carr was inactive both weeks following New Orleans' bye week and appears to have suffered an undisclosed injury at some point over the past three weeks. He'll remain on the sidelines for the rest of the 2019 season.
