Cowboys CB Anthony Brown (Achilles) will miss the remainder of the season.
He ruptured the Achilles against the Colts last Sunday night. Kelvin Joseph will take over as one of Dallas' main cornerbacks. Brown will be moved to injured reserve on Saturday and will be questionable for training camp in 2023. Brown will be a free agent in 2023 and it wouldn't be surprising if he didn't catch on until he proved he was healthy.
Cowboys CB Anthony Brown (ankle) was carted to the locker room.
Brown appeared to injure his ankle on coverage of a two-point conversion late in the third quarter of Week 13 against the Colts. He was immediately ruled out for the remainder of the contest. Further updates are expected after the game.
Cowboys declared CB Anthony Brown, QB Ben DiNucci, WR Malik Turner, DB Reggie Robinson, DE Bradlee Anae, OT Greg Senat, and DE Ron’Dell Carter inactive for Week 12 against Washington.
No surprises here. Rashard Robinson could potentially move into the starting lineup without Brown and Robinson available in nickel packages.
Cowboys CB Anthony Brown (ribs) is not expected to play in Week 12 against Washington.
Brown, Dallas' No. 2 corner across from rookie Trevon Diggs (foot, week-to-week), had just been rounding into form after coming off injured reserve in Week 8. CB Rashard Robinson was called up from the practice squad (and allowed a touchdown) against the Vikings and will presumably play a significant role on Thursday. Fantasy players should consider Alex Smith a viable 2-QB and SuperFlex streamer for that one.
