Higbee’s 10 targets finished second only to Puka Nacua (14) on the day. The veteran tight end made the most of what little action he saw during the 2024 season after a knee injury suffered late last season limited him to just three regular season games. Counting the postseason, Higbee caught 20 passes for 178 yards and three touchdowns while averaging five targets per game. Higbee is under contract through the 2025 season, and will have all offseason to get right. While he’s far from an elite tight end, he’s proven to be a reliable contributor to the Rams ever since breaking out for 69-734-3 in 2019. Assuming he doesn’t face any added competition brought in this offseason, he could make for a decent late-round dart throw in redraft and best ball leagues.

Higbee left LA’s Wild Card Round win over the Vikings with the chest injury. Per head coach Sean McVay, Higbee went to the hospital after “spitting up a little bit of blood” following the game. It was apparently not a big deal as Higbee logged a pair of limited practices before being upgraded to a full session on Friday. Ready to go for the Divisional Round, Higbee will be a touchdown-or-bust play at tight end this week.

Higbee has been able to get in back-to-back limited practices after leaving the Wild Card game against the Vikings on Monday. Rams head coach Sean McVay expects Higbee to be able to play in the Divisional Round against the Eagles in Philadelphia on Sunday, but those considering using him in their slate should keep a close eye.
