Nick Vannett caught 2-of-2 targets for 26 yards in Tennessee’s Week 18 loss to the Texans.
He managed 17 of them on a well-designed flea flicker screen that saw Vannett out in space alone with blockers. Entering his age-32 season in 2025, Vannett will continue trawling around the league in search of bad tight end depth charts. Since entering the final year of his rookie deal in 2019, he has played for the Seahawks, Steelers, Broncos, Saints, Giants, Chargers, and now the Titans. If he shows up, your team has a bad tight end depth chart. We’re sorry, we don’t make the rules here.
Nick Vannett caught 2-of-2 passes for 33 yards with a touchdown in the Titans’ Week 9 overtime win over the Patriots.
Titans waived TE Nick Vannett.
Vannett appeared to make the initial 53-man roster, but he was waived with the Titans putting in a claim for Ali Gaye from the Texans. Vannett could see interest on the waiver wire, and if he goes unclaimed he could be brought back to the practice squad.
Titans signed veteran TE Nick Vannett.
The two sides agreed to terms on Monday although the terms of the contract have not yet been made public. The eight-year veteran came into the league with the Seahawks in 2016, spending time with the Steelers, Broncos, Saints, Giants, and Chargers since departing Seattle. Vannett carries sparse fantasy value even though the Titans have little in the way of depth behind presumed starter Chigoziem Okonkwo.
