Langford (undisclosed) was waived from the Falcons' injured reserve list Wednesday, per the league's official transaction log.
Langford was waived in May with an undisclosed injury and reverted to IR after clearing waivers. After failed stints with the Ravens, Jets and Dolphins since flopping as the Bears' starter in 2015, Langford's future prospects in the NFL aren't great.

Langford joined the Falcons from the team's practice squad in Week 17 of the 2018 campaign with Ito Smith (knee) and Devonta Freeman (groin) both on injured reserve, carrying the ball nine times for 25 yards, though the running back evidently picked up an injury in the process. He will stay with the team, and it gives the Falcons the flexibility to pick up another player, since Langford doesn't count against the 90-man roster.

Langford ran for 25 yards on nine carries during Sunday's 34-32 win against the Buccaneers.
In the finale against Tampa Bay, Langford saw his first regular-season snap since 2016 when he was a member of the Bears roster. With Ito Smith (knee) having been placed on injured reserve, Langford was called up from the Falcons practice squad on Dec. 18 before earning 16 of 73 running back snaps during Sunday's contest. Only recently having turned 27 years old, Langford has potential to compete with Brian Hill for the No. 3 job if he can put forth an impressive showing in training camp.
