The Athletic’s Jeff Zrebiec believes the Ravens are unlikely to re-sign WR Nelson Agholor this offseason.
In his second season with the Ravens, Agholor caught 14 passes for 231 yards and two touchdowns, a notable decline from the 35-381-4 he posted in 2023. Agholor has surpassed 473 yards since going for 48-896-8 in 2020, and is little more than a role player at this stage in his career. The former first-round pick will be 32 next season but should still have a chance to earn a role elsewhere on what will likely be a one-year deal.
Nelson Agholor caught 14-of-28 targets for 231 yards and two touchdowns in the Ravens’ 2024 season.
Agholor is no longer a reliable backup, catching just 50.0 percent of passes this season. He is highly unlikely to return to fantasy relevance in 2025. The journeyman wide receiver does not need to be considered on draft day.
Ravens declared RB Justice Hill, WR Anthony Miller, WR Nelson Agholor, C Nick Samac, LB Adisa Isaac, DL Chris Wormley, and S Marcus Williams inactive for Week 18 against the Browns.
Agholor shed his injury designation this week but will be held out as the Ravens look to clinch the AFC North against the Browns. Justice Hill joins him on the sidelines after suffering a brutal concussion two weeks ago. While less than likely, lead back Derrick Henry needs 217 rush yards to become the first player in NFL history with multiple 2,000-yard seasons.
Nelson Agholor (concussion) practiced in full on Tuesday.
He’ll likely be active and clear protocol. Agholor has missed the last two weeks after suffering the brain injury against the Giants in Week 15. It sounds like there will be no Anthony Miller practice squad elevation this week
