Player News
Colts placed Josh Robinson on practice squad injured list.
Robinson went undrafted out of Mississippi State and had appeared in five games with the Colts this season before landing back on their practice squad.
Colts waived RB Josh Robinson.
Rookie RB Josh Robinson has been waived by the Colts who promoted LB Daniel Adongo from the practice squad. Robinson only had 39 yards on 17 carries this season but has not played in the Colts last four games.
Josh Robinson has completed concussion protocol.
With Robinson declared healthy, he will now assume the primary back-up role with the Colts behind Frank Gore. He's definitely worth a stash if you don't have and running back depth, but won;t see a whole lot of work unless something happens to Gore.
With Dan Herron waived, the Colts are expected to turn to rookie Josh Robinson as the team's No. 2 running back.
Robinson was Indy's sixth round pick this year out of Mississippi State. In his final collegiate season he averaged 6.3 yards per carry on 190 carries and scored 11 touchdowns. Playing with Dak Prescott in college and Andrew Luck in the NFL would seem to be a wildly different game for Robinson, but apparently the Colts feel confident with Robinson being next in line behind a 32-year-old Frank Gore. Robinson's name is definitely one to monitor for fantasy owners.
