Chris Crocker

Crocker has been seeing time with the first-team defense because everyone else competing for the job -- Robert Blanton, Jamarca Sanford and Mistral Raymond Have all been hurt over the last two weeks. He\'s also competing with rookie Antone Exum, so don\'t go writing in Crocker\'s name atop the depth chart just yet. When everyone comes back healthy, it\'s going to be a big free-for-all for playing time.

The Vikings wanted to add some experience so they signed the 12 year veteran to a one year deal. Crocker doesn\'t have much upside in IDP leagues.

Viking head coach Mike Zimmer is well acquainted with Crocker, who he coached in Cincy before leaving as defensive coordinator to take over the Minnesota team. He will slot in as number two on the depth chart at strong safety behind Jamarca Sanford.
